QSH9_27 === Québec Short Hops for FS9
JODOIN Boatworks & Airstrip === Anse Pleureuse, Québec === CLLE

Might work in FS2002 as well but READ the note in the installation. The sounds will not work in FS2002. Also, the airfield will not list in the 'Go To' menu. You will have to go to: N49* 13.0665' W65* 49.0144'

=======================================
Anse Pleureuse is situated in the Gaspé peninsula, about half way between Ste Anne des Monts and Gaspé.

Anse Pleureuse does exist but the scenery is entirely fictitious.

It could be said that not long ago, almost everyone on the Gaspé peninsula could build fine wooden fishing boats. It is this context that inspired me to do this scenery.

Nit pickers and bug chasers are not welcome to send me their comments. You do not like it, sorry, I will double your money back if need be.

I create my sceneries in summer recommended for its best use.

========================================

Québec Short Hop sceneries are aimed at making VFR flying in Québec most pleasant and attractive as I can make it.

If I notice a way to improve an item or a texture, even if this item or texture is used in a previous release, I reserve the right to change it anytime.

You can upload any of my sceneries if you make a search at either AvSim of FlighSim.com and search for author Leon Louis.

I thank Tom Fica for his nice trucks, the old barrels, rowboat and trawlers. Thanks also to Jim Jackson of Northern Exposure for the picnic tables, camp fire flames and nice canoe. Thanks to Jeffrey Stanyer for the very nice windsock. Thanks to Einar Aarvik for the nice Landrover and also Brian Moat for the wooden runabouts.

Thanks also to Bill Derenburger for testing the beta version of this scenery.

I must not forget Tom Hiscox and Brian McWilliams for the program "Airport for Windows" and also Matthias Brückner for the program "EOD" which I use to make my macros. I thank also Martin Wright for the program DXT and Lee Swordy for the program afcad. Thanks to Raphaël Sanchez for the program NovaSim that I used to make the mist effect on the river.

I hope I did not forget anyone. If so, I am deeply sorry and please send me a note.

I N S T A L L A T I O N FOR ALL MY QUEBEC SHORT HOPS SCENERIES

MESH AND SCENERY ENHANCEMENT: This scenery was made to be compatible and used with Gilles Gauthier's fine FREEWARE mesh and scenery enhancement. To see it properly you must have the following files. Easy to install instructions in the downloads and it will not cost you a cent.

The files you need to install from Gilles Gauthier are:

qclod09a.zip to qclod09e.zip This is the main mesh for the Province. It was made originally for FS2002 but is perfect in FS2004 as well.

and,

IlesStLaurentQC.zip This is the St.Lawrence River islands terrain and scenery enhancement (FS2004 only)

You can get all the files by making a search for author "Gilles Gauthier". I suggest you search for the author name only and do not specify any category. This way you get the FS2002 and the FS2004 files in one search.

==========================================

For the LAGO sounds and objects installation, please refer to the LAGO folder. These Lago files will work in FS2004 ONLY.

===========================================

If you do not have a Quebec Short Hops folder "Quebec SH9" where you usually install your sceneries, you must make one and make also one subfolder named scenery and another named texture.

You should then have:

xxxxxxx/Quebec SH9/scenery
/texture

As many of my textures are repeated from one scene to the other, this will use lot less room on your hard drive.

During installation overwrite when prompted to do so.

Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the scenery folder in the above scenery folder you created.

Then, do the same with the CONTENTS ONLY of the texture folder to go into the texture folder.

For FS2004 ONLY, place the CONTENTS ONLY of the addon_scenery folder (if any is included with the download) into:

xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/Scenery (notice the word scenery is repeated)

Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the effects folder (if any is included with the download) in the Effects folder of your Flight Simulator.

You need to activate Quebec SH9 in the scenery library if not already done.

That is all.

Restart Flight Simulator and welcome to "La Belle Province"

Thank you

Enjoy your visit

Léon Louis
